The Rental Vehicle Association (RVA) is the membership organisation representing the representing the New Zealand rental vehicle industry.
Members of the RVA are obligated to adhere to a ‘Code of Ethics’ and are scrutinised by an approved RVA Board. This ensures that the customers are treated fairly and with a high level of professionalism. It is important to know that not all rental car companies are members of the RVA.
At Pegasus Rental Cars we are serious about delivering professional service and are prepared to be held accountable. As members of the RVA, you can be confident that you are dealing with a reputable company that prides itself on delivering the best quality cars at the best price.
All our vehicles are required to go through an independent Certificate of Fitness (COF) process every six months to ensure that government standards are met. All Pegasus Rental Cars vehicles are inspected by an approved independent third-party testing station. This gives every one of our customers the confidence that our rental cars are roadworthy and safe.
As a car hire provider, we pride ourselves on ensuring our customers’ experience is quick, easy, affordable, reliable, and safe. Before any car leaves our premises, we perform our on-site vehicle checks to ensure the fluid levels, tyre tread depth, and windscreen safety are met, and that the vehicle holds a valid COF and Registration for the duration of your hire.
For added peace of mind, we provide 24-hour roadside assistance nationwide. In most cases, we can resolve issues within hours so you can get back on the road with the least amount of time.
We are dedicated to ensuring all our customers have safe and enjoyable journeys throughout New Zealand. We encourage you to visit the Rental Vehicle Association of New Zealand (RVA) website to find out more about our obligation to you.
