What is the cheapest time to rent a car? Make sure to book your car hire in advance. During New Zealand holiday periods, demand is high, and prices can increase. We regularly update our promotions page - check back here for our newest car hire deals!

Airport Transfers

We provide pick-ups from hotels and motels close to our depots. Many of our New Zealand airport branches offer free transfers during business hours (8 am - 5 pm). If you’re arriving outside these hours, we may be able to provide a car hire transfer service for a special low fee. Check with the booking branch for more information. Some of our branches offer a personalised airport meet-and-greet service. Our staff will collect you from the terminal and take you straight to our depot to pick up your car rental. Or choose an express car hire service to grab the car keys on arrival and collect your rental car from the car park. We request at least 12 hours notice for new bookings if you’re arriving after 5 pm. To arrange your car rental transfer, email or call us toll-free on 0800 80 35 80. You can also add your flight arrival time to the comments box when you book your car rental online.

How to Select Optional Extras

Once you reserve your New Zealand car rental through our secure booking page, you can add extras. Choose from GPS navigation, child seats, bike racks, snow chains and roof racks. Select insurance options and airport transfers if required. If you have already booked your car hire, email our team to request optional extras before you travel. We want you to drive with confidence - so we provide comprehensive insurance cover on every car hire. We include 24-hour roadside assistance on all car rentals nationwide, and allow up to three additional drivers without charge. For your peace of mind during COVID 19, we offer contactless car hire and have continued to thoroughly disinfect each vehicle before they are collected.
